I visited Paris a few weeks ago, and it’s an absolute visual paradise for photographers especially at night. I urge anyone who is into night photography to go and visit this magnificent city. I was only there for a couple of days and hadn’t even scratched the surface.
The tripod I recently purchased came into it’s own and I was able to capture so many images in a variety of places. This view of the Eiffel Tower was taken frm the Trocadéro – a simply stunning view. At night the tower lights up with a display for 5 minutes on the hour, every hour. I would have liked to visit the Arc De Triomphe during the night too, but the daytime pictures from there were pretty stunning anyway.
The portability of the Manfrotto BeFree was really good. In daytime also, Paris really was a beautiful city to photograph – I shall definitely be going back. Look out for more images from Paris in the galleries.
